Kitchen down right now? (203) 922-1000 Emergency service 24/7/365
Demonstration. This is an unaffiliated demonstration built by EquipNexus from Gary's East Coast Service's own public website: their logo, photographs, maintenance advice and wording, used unaltered. Nothing here is a claim by the company. The “check first” items are general operator checks, not the company's advice. The hero background is their own service-van photograph, blurred, and the tagline is transcribed from an image on their site.

Check first, before you call anyone
  • Has the high-limit reset been pressed? It is usually a small button on the front control panel.
  • Is the oil at the fill line? Low oil can trip the high limit.

Never open a panel or work on gas or wiring. If it is anything past this, that is what the phone number is for.

From our tech
Commercial fryers should be inspected regularly for leaks, their burners should be cleaned, and the temperature should be checked. Doing this will help keep your commercial fryer operating safely.

Commercial Appliance Planned Maintenance

Planned Maintenance (PM) Schedule

  • Visual Inspection

We check that your commercial equipment is in good, physical condition. Knobs, handles, cord caps etc are examined and replaced as needed.

  • Operational Inspection

We check that your commercial equipment operates safely and properly. If a repair is identified, minor repairs can be done onsite and major repairs can be estimated.

  • Descale

Technicians will descale boilers, dishwashers, coffee and other water based equipment to remove limescale that has built up on your commercial appliance. Skipping this treatment can result in long term damage from scale build up on your commercial appliance.

  • Routine Component Check

Technicians look for parts that easily wear down over time, such as gaskets and switches, and replace as needed.

  • Smooth Operation Calibration

Technicians adjust and calibrate temperatures as needed for your commercial kitchen operation.

  • Mechanical TLC

Technicians clean, sharpen and lubricate mechanical components as applicable to ensure they are operating at their best.

  • Support System

Our service team is available to answer any operatorial and maintenance questions for your team
